“Be prepared” as the motte of scout movement, Dharmapala Vidyalaya have more than 50 years of excellence of in creating more than 50 President Scouts till now. Our movement have been contributing courageous, brave & disciplined scouts since 1967. Our scouts have been participating in international events in Switzerland, India, Japan & Singapore.

History

The scouting movement in dharmapala Vidyalaya have been found in 17th of June 1967. The 1st scout camp had been held on 1967 at Meeriyagama. The scouting room of dharmapala Vidyalaya had been opened by the chief commissioner in 05th of February 1975. Scout troop of Dharmapala Vidyalaya have been named as the 1st ever scout troop to hold a camp fire competition.
